I was told they are not good for the evo. Go with Swift, H&R, or for a large drop Eibach.

Not sure about the Evo, but in the Ralliart world, I've heard that it wears out the stock suspension faster than other brands because of the amount it lowers. Also heard that the ride is rougher than stock. More form than function. But I'd get an opinion from someone who owns them for the Evo. Like I said, this is what I've heard for the Teins on the Ralliart.

i have the swift sport springs on my evo which were installed by the previous owner, they feel very similar to my wife's e90 330i with the sport package as far as firmness and overall feel. Love it

S-Tech stands for dress up master; sure does sound like performance there (sarcasm).

Issue is not only spring rate, but also lowering amount. Going too low will cause the struts to be close to their bump stops. Hitting those will lead to blown valving.

Swift, GTWorx, and Eibach are well designed for performance and handling.

I was gonna get the Tein springs but went with Eibach after reading lots of reviews on them. Eibach springs are the way to go imo. Nice drop and the handling is better

blah blah blah.. do want you want to do... I have evo x MR with teins s-tech. speaking from experience i have no problems with them. love the drop.. love the ride. the ride is a bit stiffer, but that is expected from the spring rate. they are very close to the swift and eibach, but not low enough for me. teins give you 2 fingers in the front and 1 in the back once its settled. i also did +15mm spacers and no rub (just if your wondering). as for the other brands performance, i hear raving reviews, but doesnt meet my lowness requirement. So for what i was looking for... teins hit it spot on. IMO.

if you want tein springs see if they make H techs for the X. not many people run them on the CT9A chassis but they are a heavier spring rate then the S techs and wont blow out your struts like the S tech has been know to do on the viii and ix. S tech drop does look good but why risk blowing struts out. if you want to go that low just get coilovers
