IMO, you should just wait and get a cheaper coil set-up. Half of the coil makers have warranties on them too! All said and done you'll end up spending between 400-600 bucks anyway (unless you DIY). Something to think about..

Cheap coil-overs -- poorly combined words. Sigh.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with the Tein S.Tech's for the Evo X. I've been running them for over 20k miles with plenty of abuse; ride quality is stock-like, very predictable, no bouncing, no strange noises, no sagging.

The drop on Eibachs is actually more aggressive than the Tein springs for the X. Get your facts straight, there's always somebody who knows better from personal, first-hand experience. Tein springs may have sucked for the CT9A, but they're fine for this platform. Maybe it's simply a better match for the stock strut valving.

Good based on what?

Check your opinion. See how many have proper springs and have a good setup.

lol of course it's just my opinion but they are track tested coils. I don't hear a lot of bad things about em (esp. with the 'Swift Spring Upgrade') but then again I hear bad stuff about everyone's coils. (Tein, Megan, Stance, BC, H&R) so unless I sepnd 5k for some rediculous coil set up that I'm not gonna track anywhere near enough why spend the money? It's not rhetorical I'd really like to know what you think.
