Nitto vs Hanhook vs Sumitomo - Any suggestions?

I have a set of 18x10 wheels and I am looking at mounting 285/35/18's on it. I have it narrowed down to these tires...

Nitto NT555
Hankook Ventus V12 evo K110
Sumitomo HTR Z III

I will be using these tires for spirited weekend driving, perhap an auto-x or 2.

These are all around the 800 mark shipped. Any suggestions on which one?

Thanks!

I would also vote for Nitto NT05....

But if you really want to keep the list to the original three tires....then I would vote for Hankook V12 out of those 3

You probably bought nice expensive light wheels.....why put cheap tires on them when it is the tire that provides most of the performance?

I vote Sumitomo HTR Z III. I had a few sets on my IX for street and auto-x use. Great tire for the price.

I always wonder... what does that review mean? Whenever I hear a positive review of the Sumitomo HTR Z III... the person always says... "Good tire for the price..."

So is it a good tire or not? lol Or are you saying it's not as good as more expensive tires... but provides a decent value for price conscious people?

Whats the point of running an 285 all season tire? I think you should save alittle more and get a good dedicated summer tire.
