Bought some 18x10 +25 Wheels. What brand of 265/35/18 tire will fit without rubbing?
Did a lot of reading and bought a set of Advan RZ wheels for the X as from what I have read if I bought 9" wheels I probably would have regretted not getting 10's.
I have also read that some people running this size of wheel have had no rubbing in the rear while some say they have. Not all 265 wheels have the same overall width so this must be the difference between some people rubbing and some not. Just checking tire specifications the 265 tire most all list the same but I have noticed that the Nitto NT05's are listed as slightly narrower than say the Direzza Star Specs that I have heard are wider than some.
I know a lot of people are running these wheels in this size so I'm hoping for some people to chime in with their experience on what tires fit and which ones rubbed.
I really, really want to avoid rolling my fenders unless I absolutely have to so getting a tire that some have had fitiment success would be the best place to start. I realize that I may have to forgo some of the better performance tires but my car is mainly a daily driver so I can live with that.

nitto nt05 won't rub, they run little narrower than star specs or advan ad08. Saw couple people running nt05 with 10 inch rims without fender rolling so you should be fine

Good to know. Thanks. I'm wondering if there are any other tires that may run a bit narrow as Nittos are hard to get in Canada and since Tire Rack doesn't carry them not too many options as far as importing them from the US. I know there is an outfit selling them on ebay but they want $220 to ship to Canada which is a rip-off as Tire Rack charges me only $80.

Here are the facts:
A) 18x10 +25 should not rub if you run 265/35s or thinner.
B) Dunlops run wider than other brands of the same size.
C) Lowering the car will automatically add negative camber (even with out coilovers).
You'll be fine.
