I think I would be bothered more paying 200 dollars for the dealership to reprogram them.
For the very short term (til you turn the key off) push and hold the info button when you get the warning's indication that it's ready to shut off. THere's an icon on the upper right that eventually comes on, letting you know you can go back to another display. THat icon changes to another warning one, but at least you can see other stuff.

Why didn't you just have them installed in the TE's? They should fit. There's no need to program them if you swap them to another wheel. I know, I've done it.

you dont ONLY have to go to a dealer to have em swapped or reprogrammed. most tire shops should have the tool to do it..(ie: firestone(corporate store), discount/america's tire, belle tire, goodyear...etc)

i worked at firestone for just over a year and we did it ten or so times a day at least..it takes like 20 mins or less depending how complex the programming procedure is, and ussually we charged around $75 for the programming, to swap em tho it was free with the tire mount, or i think about another $75 or so to do all the breakdown n such..

well Im getting an alignment tomorrow at my tire place. They also have my factory wheels still sitting there with the TPMS still attached. Maybe I will have them swap them over. I dont plan on swapping wheels back and forth, so it might be beneficial to install them on the TEs.

Got them swapped to the TEs this morning. I didnt know the TPMS was basically a part of the valve stem, so now I have the fugly factory valve stems instead of the nice rays ones that came with my wheels but oh well, function over form.

Definitely recommend going to a quality mom and pop shop operation, they have done great work for me and at a fraction of the cost of other places. 120 bucks for alignment and swapping and programming of the tpms. No more light
