Do you mean Ferodo? I've used both their DS3000 race pads and DS2500 clubsport pads before (not on the X though) and they're awesome. I am a definitely a fan.

Even among street pads there are pretty big differences so you should be specific in your needs.

Low Dust.....get ceramic

Drive never ending canyon runs - DS2500's or something that can take the heat

Noise and dust on one side - bite/fade resistance and $$ on the other side.

We have lots of choices in stock

Awesome thread. Dealership told me I'd pay 1g for pads, parts and labor. Yea, that's not gonna happen and this thread has helped me find options. After what I've read, I'll go with the highly recommended stoptechs, and I'll be buying from evobrakes.net

well don't get race/carbon pads. But you don't want to skimp either. If you wanna be able to safely drive with vigor occasionally i would get either ceramics or organic. Organic has a lil better response but they wear down faster and leave behind alot more brake dust.
