Ohlins Evo X Install

I just snapped a few photos of the install of my Ohlins DFV for the X. I swapped out the rear springs that came with the Ohlins Kit for some Hyperco 12k springs for the rear.

Also a few shots of the Whiteline Rear Swaybar.

The Rear Top Shock mount bolt locations.

Some shots of the front.

The Rears with the 12k Springs installed.

Not a Comprehensive install thread, just a few photos to show.

Thanks for looking.

The ohlins front assembly is an inverted strut, so the rebound adjustment is on the bottom. The ride is extremely good for going to a 10k front and 12k rear from the stock rates. I have followed Ohlins initial setup recommendations for the rebound and it rides just as good as OEM, if not better. Very pleased with the street commute thus far. No track impressions yet tho, hopefully soon.

On that, I would say having the bilsteins gives you more options down the road to pair with some gtworx spring and getting the bilsteins revalved to an HD status. They offer more potential.

I fully was unaware that Evo Xs run rod-end lower mount shocks in back.

Ohlins are pure sex though, nice upgrade.
