Lowering springs for 2011 MR?
Lowering springs for 2011 MR?
Hey guys, I'm looking to get some new wheels soon and was going to give my car a slight drop at the same time. Looking at about 1" drop. What springs have you guys had good experiences with? Looking for one that's not going to compromise my ride quality too much. Thanks in advance!
I do like the idea of picking up direct from the company since anahiem is down the road..

Have had mine a month, perfect for dd. Look and feel awesome.

(^ Day after install, have settled slightly more since i think)

I prefer the Eibachs because they actually make it look like the car is lowered and they are relatively cheap. :-)
But if you are looking for a conservative drop, the Swift Spec R lowering springs are pretty darn nice.

Swift Spec R. Had mine for 15K miles of Daily Driving here in NJ. No problems on our EVO X MR. The drop is pretty much all I want given the roads here. Rides smoother than stock and the initial stiffness that you would usually make you feel like the dashboard just broke is now very muted.
These springs are dyno'd for consistency on performance and tested very well.
Just remember the all important Whiteline Roll Center Kit. Since you'll be taking apart the suspension, you might as well put this kit on. The steering will feel like stock, and you will maintain your stock suspension geometry in the front. You can even go coilovers and go lower in the future if you want and the suspension geomerty will still be optimal with the roll center kit installed.
