In the same boat.
Got some 18x9.5 volks ce28n on order and trying to decide which tires to go with.

Either 265/35 Hankooks v12s or Nitto Invos. Leaning more towards the v12s since the dollar to performance ratio can't be beat.

Continental EC DWs beat Hankook V12s in every single category and cost the same. So I have to ask what the above is based on.

My bad clearly it shows i havent throughly done my research. From what i read so far the hankooks v12s are quite popular.

But i think i've settled on a tire. Pilot super sports. Figure im already spending so much on rims can't cheap out on tires either. Must get something decent.

OP never mentioned the offset. I have recently put on 9.5's with 22mm offset. This seems to be about the perfect offset for the 9.5. I have Direzza ZII's in 275/35-18, and it slightly rubs the inner fenders at full lock in front. It also rubs, but does not cut the rear fenders in extreme manoevers. Any more offset either way would make either nuisance a problem. As is, I can live with both easily. Suspension and alignment are stock.

When pushing it, as you are with 275s, the other option is to get long studs for the front hubs and run a spacer in the front (only). That way you can have mismatched offsets and still rotate the tires.

And, please, I beg you (all): don't say anything silly about mismatching offsets on an AWD. It's fine.
