I don't see how they are any different than name brand. Grade 8 hardware and machined aluminum? What could go wrong? I bet they would be fine. I'll pick up a set and let you know!

ebay brands are not always bad, i would be more worried for more mechanical parts. but for spacers they should be fine.

No. I would not buy those. The reason being, they have no hubcentric rings. Without hubcentric rings, you can end up vibration at/around 70mph.

If you want a good price on some spacers that DO have hubcentric rings, let me know. I always recommend H&R.

Hubcentric is the difference between what you have and what the OP was asking about. Personally, I wouldn't gamble with eBay spacers just because even the slightest issue can cause vibrations. There are cheaper alternatives to the H&Rs, though. Ichiba spacers are pretty good.

Normally all you do is spam tech threads, but this time you said something very useful. Thanks.

Just because they claim Grade 8 doesn't mean they actually are. A Chinese eBay company lying...OMG no way! [gasp!]

Grade 8 isn't some holy grail. It isn't crazy to think that they very well could be grade 8. They are only marginally more expensive than low carbon steel anyways. It could easily be verified by a simple hardness test.

Just for reference, A grade 2 1/2" fine threaded bolt will hold 10,000 pounds tensile before breaking. A grade 8 will hold 24,000lbs. Under normal conditions (stock studs torqued to 85 lbft) you have about 10k lbs of clamping force per lug. Assuming these weren't grade 8, but grade 5 which is similar to the stock lug, you'd have at least 50k lbs of clamping force total. I think that would suffice for DD and some spirited driving....it is good enough for OEM.

The cost of spacers is about as ridiculous as what people charge for an upper intercooler pipe. This is what they should cost realistically.

I do agree about the hubcentric rings though. Those would definitely be necessary.
