KW V3s are not inverted. Also, due to their rather unique approach, they have an external canister on the side at the bottom, even though they are twin-tubes.

Rob's expience not withstanding, I have liked my KWs. Has to be said there is a variety of offerings and the V3s are on the lighter end of the spectrum.

I'm wondering if that played a part, being non-inverted they would have less bending strength which under rally use (tarmac/gravel) would punish them.

we did only tarmac, bumpy one , but nothing extra ordenary.

i know they do have a rally spec suspension, but i can not tell you honestly anyone who using them on evo's. We thought we will give a try , since it is a full tarmac, and my co-driver very first event in the rally, we were obviously wrong.

i am sure it will not happened with anyone who doesnt drive crazy fast for long on public roads. I wouldnt use it example for hill climbs and tarmac rally anymore.
Tracks and DD drag racing , autox , they are fine i am sure.

Sorry to revive an old thread, but I must ask, did you have any rubbing issues with this setup, and did you have to roll any fenders? Also, were your tires 255/35 or 255/40? A reply would be much appreciated!
