motive power bleeder question

Hi, do you guys know which kit I should buy to work on an Evo X?

I guess the ford one should work because it says it will fit late model mitsubishi, but I just wanna make sure.

Thanks.

If the reservoir is the same as the IX, the ford adapter is what you want. I use one on my car, works like a champ, just remember to keep plenty of fluid in the bottle and keep the clutch side filled to the neck when bleeding the clutch.

Not sure if it is the same... I'll search that..I've read about issues with the Ford adapter though..?

Nope. The correct Motive Power Bleeder for an Evo X is model #0107. It's the one for Evos, STis, and 350Zs.

Sorry. The "nope" wasn't aimed at you. The kit you linked to is the 0107, so it's the right one. The key is getting the kit for the small-mouth, three-tab reservoirs and that's the one to which you linked.

just make sure you lube ring inside cap. it will take a few time to get it to seal right. but once you get it, no issues.

I usually just rub some brake fluid on it.
