a little bit of stretch isnt too bad but you are right too much is a fail for EVO's

You would have to run Atleast 285 size tires. It would prolly fit depending on the offset, but you would have to remove the front fender liners and roll and pull the rear fenders and have some camber.

We ran an 18x10.5 +15 on our X with no issue... 275 all the way around and ast coilovers

I assume he likes the way they look, isn't that the reason most people pick a certain wheel/size?
