swift spec R spring help
swift spec R spring help
hey whats up guys, after installing springs came to find out that the guy who installed them did a shyt job, ( left front off by 1/4 inch in height difference front right front and also the rears shocks).
for those who are running this spring with stock gsr shocks, could you please measure the height from bottom fender to a reference point so that i know more or less where i should be at, ( I know every car is different, however just for reference to what more or less i should be )
thanks

only thing i can think of is jack car up and see if they are perched correctly. with wheel off the ground you can move the spring, but will take some effort, but can be done if need be.

yes this is true.. there are two holes one on the top hat seat... and one on the lower seat, you want to make sure that the upper and lower seat line up... you can use a rod to make sure they line up
If that's true, it's typically the driverside that will sit a touch higher when empty, to compensate for the weight of the driver.
Not always the case. There was once a theory that jdm cars were biased to account for the driver and that bias was not mirrored for LHD cars, meaning the right side was always higher. My statistical sample (<5000 cars) says there isn't any real correlation.
