Speed Bleeder Gone Wrong

I suspect that the Helicoil was not installed properly. To do it right you need the special Helicoil kit of taps and such that are relevant to the hole needed M10 x 1.0. Engine builders, which use helicoils regularly, are good sources to fix the caliper, as they have the pieces needed.

While it would be nice to just dash out and buy a new caliper if you strip a bleed screw hole, it's not practical and, really, people should not be afraid of helicoils if installed properly.
