Alignment Issue - Feedback?

So, car just passed 1k miles. From the dealership it had an alignment issue that was not noticed before I drove home as I instructed the dealer to park it after it was unloaded from the truck and not move it :P (custom order and I trust no one). So the steering wheel would be straight when driving straight but it'd pull hard to the left. If I let go at highway speeds I'd immediately swerve into the left lane and my arm got sore driving lol. Took it to the dealer, they had it for two days, did two alignments, and said it was fixed. Picked it up, the steering wheel was about 20 degrees tilted right when driving straight and 'drifted' to the left, not as severe as before but to me, this was worse than before. Week later I take it back to the dealer, they had the car for four days before I could pick it up. I'd say it's about 90% ok now. I'm wondering if I'm being too meticulous on this car. Driving straight the steering wheel is tilted to the left about 5 degrees at all times unless the road is tiled than it could be better or worse and it pulls to the right just enough I could let go for 2-3 seconds before going over the white line. It also has a minor tramlining issue when it never did before (steering left or right on imperfect surfaces) On top of that, the dealer f***ed up my detail leaving wax on the plastic/sunroof/mirrors and my service advisor never closed my paperwork so I still have no idea what all was done nor the specs of the current alignment. All I know is they ended up taking it to the Nissan shop and placing it on their GTR rack. I have no faith in this place and won't be going back. Is it worth taking it to another dealer or should I just leave it alone? I've never had a car with an alignment issue although I've never had an Evolution before now.

THANKS FOR LISTENING TO ME B*TCH

IMHO you bought it brand new from a dealer and have had the issues since you bought it. I would say you are not being to meticulous at all. you paid for a product and it was not delivered in perfect working condition. i say take it back again and ask to see what it was at before and after. If they cannot still fix it then i would look into seeing how much it would cost for you to go elsewhere, get it fixed and call it a day.

I would take it to a professional alignment shop that actually knows what they’re doing. It sounds like they've failed multiple times to align your car.

I am literally going crazy imagining this.

If my actual steering wheel on my car was tilted 5....20!!!!.... degrees while going straight I think the dealer would be safe. Why? Because I would die of an acute OCD invoked aneurysm right there in the Recaro.

YES!!! THIS! THANK YOU ha ha ha. Yeah I'm torn taking it to a good shop for alignment out of pocket or going to another dealer for free. It's covered under the 12 month 12k miles adjustment period regardless. There's one 'diamond' award dealer for sales and service here in WA - if it means much I'll likely take it there. They're not going to be providing me with a rental car though I can guarantee that.

I took my optioned out Outlander XLS ~$29-30K vehicle in for warranty work back in the day and they rented me an Enterprise midsize car for free because their loaners were all out.

I would think if you take one of the most expensive cars (depending options) they make in for warranty work they can let you drive a lancer or rent you a cheap car. It's not your fault after all.

BOOT to the Head of the Japanese Engineer signing off Quality Checks that day! hahaha JK could have happened in transport too. Good Luck - Hope they hook you up like cable!!!

Are sure it's not just the cant/crests of the roads you drive or possibly tires? Whenever I first drive my Evo on the road the first thing I notice is how darty it is and how sensitive it is to small imperfections of the road (granted my suspension is a bit different from stock). I often notice my wheel not being perfectly straight or tracking straight on some roads.

I'm just exploring the "being too meticulous" side or your concern; from one meticulous person to another.

Odds are, all of you complaining about their Evo X pulling or pushing or darting around have Mitsu-suggested amounts of rear toe-in, which is too much.

I'd go somewhere else whether it's a dealer or a shop.

Unless you went in for a ton of other issues no shop should be holding your car for 2 or 4 days just for an alignment.
