Was cruising at 75mph today on the highway and blew a tire. Nothing was in it, the sidewall just gave way. The tires are the stock advans and from my understanding there is a warranty on them?

Who would I contact, Mitsubishi or Yokohama?

 

The car has 6,000 miles on it by the way.

 

I would contact the dealership where the Evo was bought. They should handle the process for you.

 

Nope. Mitsubishi washes their hands of the tires. Read the flippin' warranty. You must go to the tire-maker.

 

Yea called Mitsubishi they sent me to Yokohama so I am going to a local dealer today.

 

Dang! thats crazy. only 6k mi and your tire blew? better have a good conversation with the manufacturer
