Squeaking brakes
Since the weather is getting colder in Minnesota, I've noticed my factory Brembo's squeal once in a while. Combine cold weather with- after driving on the highway for a while without using the brakes, or shortly after starting my car to leave a parking ramp. I think most OEM performance brakes will have this issue since they would have some optimization for withstanding the high consistent heat they would generate on a track. It's a trade-off for relatively high performance.
I do think brake dust could also contribute to the squeaking, but not nearly as much as cold weather would.

We've been chasing noisy Brembo's since 2003.
-Aggressive pads in these calipers almost certainly make noise.
-Multiple pad compounds seem to contribute (turn or clean rotors if you change pad compound)
-Even really soft ceramic pads can make noise.
Proper maintenance helps and grease/cleaning etc - but they are temporary at best.
We have had some very frustrated owners. Some cars are REALLY EFFING LOUD - and that sucks. We have also had some really frustrated cars (the OWNERS are the really loud part!!)

To my knowledge, the only way of ridding yourself of the squeal is to get a brake pad compound that doesn't have the stopping power that the OEM pads do. Squeaking is from the vibrations induced in the rotor.
