Hey I'm thinking of buying a evo x in the near future. Been doing a lot of research on wheels and suspension. I'm currently looking at Rotiform 3 piece tmb wheels with airrex air shocks. Any advice on wheel size and thoughts on air suspension ? Thanks much!

 

18x9.5 22-24+ offset are a good setup not to extreme but looks great. Forget about air shocks. Get ya a good set of dropped springs and call it a day. And welcome to the forum.

First off......what is your main purpose for the car? DD / AutoX/ Track / Show/ Drift / Stance / HELLAFLUSH?

Secondly, how much tire do you need for said purpose?

Then you can figure out wheels after that. Don't just go immediately to 9.5, if that doesn't suit what you need.

 

Evo wheels and suspensions are already great in stock form. You are not making a good first impressions asking these kind of questions even before you have an Evo.

 

It's going to be my DD as I build it but as I start modding I want to bring it to shows. Hella flush is my style, want something quick and not crazy slammed but mostly for show. Pick up quick for the freeway
