Hi, new here. I bought a 08 Evo X MR back in November and so far have been liking it.

I went to get some snow tires put on my factory BBS wheels yesterday and it turns out one wheel was damaged by a previous owner. The tire shop wouldn't mount a tire on that wheel so I had to leave on the spare.

Where can I buy a BBS without paying the ridiculous price for a new one? I've been searching ebay, craigslist, and some forums but haven't found anybody selling just 1 BBS yet. Or I could get a complete different set of wheels to mount these snow tires on and keep looking for a BBS for summer time.

 

oh wow how does that happen..best bet would to look on the evo x facebook group pages, find a curbed one of something for cheap. or like you said, buy some winter wheels. xxr's are very cheap if you wanna go a cheap wheel thatll do it for you.

go to another shop and have them mount it up. Its a forged wheel, it can handle a few welds.

 

I tried another shop and they said no problem. Mounted it right up.
