Fortune Auto 500

Hey, guys. I just ordered myself a set of FA500 coils, with radial bearings and 8k/8k springs. I was just trying to get a good starting point, for the dampening settings, for a good ride.

I'm still waiting for them to come in.

I'm excited to get them in. I am currently on the OEM Biltseins and H&R springs.

W/the 8k/8k set-up your platform will be even more understeer prone than stock. Most of us run a higher rear rate for some rear rotation. Your sways will also affect this setup

I run my FA's at 10K/12K & run the valving approx 20-25% more rebound in the rear

With your 8K/8K you may be able to run the clickers at the same setting front & rear. Dial in full hard & back off(counter clock) 15 clicks (or more) front & rear & see how it feels. Its not an exact science

Just my .02

I'm still messing with the settings. I'm at full stiff right now and it feels great.

lol

also the best noticeable rotation is available with the Evo with steering and throttle input, not really with spring swapping around, just saying

start with the clicks at the middle position , and get a book write down every adjustment you make until you dialed in.

So from the middle position start clicking up or down (your pick) 3 clicks at each time. if you feel its too much click back one and see what happens.

Do it this way. When you have a final dial, write that one down.

Make sure you aiming to the "feels comfortable - confident - safe" at high speed driving vs the " feel fast - sharp" and his friends.

that is how i would do.
