Roll center adjustment

So if I buy lowering springs or coilovers how serious is it that I purchase the white line roll center adjustment kit?

For street use, don't waste your money. Just don't slam the car.

I don't plan on it! I just want some Spec-r lowering springs or some street coilovers so that its lower with a higher spring rate. I was just not sure if the roll center kit was completely necessary

I'm not slammed because, well, I'm not stupid

That's what I had read, that it realigns the suspension geometry since the car has been lowered. I mean if we need them I'd buy them but if not then I would prefer to save $250

If you're going to autocross and going for the fast time of the day, or trying to eek every last bit out of the at a track day, it's pointless. You won't notice it just cruising on the street or hitting your local twisty roads..

For sure don't need it with Spec-R springs.

The forums swears about a lot of things. Lots of noise.

[QUOTE=razorlab;11639101]For sure don't need it with Spec-R springs.

Why do you say for sure with those springs? do they not lower it enough to affect the suspension geometry in a bad way?

swifts barely lower the car at all. most consider them as the "weakest" drop.

maperformance.com says 1.25 inch drop in the front and 1.0 in the rear for the Swift spec-r springs

Here is my 10 when it was running Swifts on OEM bilstein struts:

Looks like a good height. Would you recommend a different brand of spring? And I'm guessing you went to a coilovers setup?

The progression of suspension on my 10:

Oem --> Bilstein + Swift Spec R --> Apexi ExV 8k/8k Coilovers --> Ohlins 10k/10k Coilovers

Alright well I guess when I do springs I won't get the roll center adjustment kit, but when I eventually do coilovers I'll buy it

Would you recommend Apexi coils for a DD evo (maybe 3-4 track days a year)?
