Brake noise with direction change or from stop
Ever since I recently changed my brake pads and have my rotors resurfaced, I noticed that every time I brake at low speeds, especially from a stop or changing directions from going forward to reverse or vice-versa, I hear a metal-like "clunk" sound coming from my front brakes. Seems to be originating from the passenger side.
At high speeds coming to a stop, the brakes work great and there are no sounds during braking.
In addition, if I don't change directions, the noise seems to go away after a few stops. For example, if the car is parked and go in reverse, and brake, I will hear the "clunk", and if I continue to brake while reversing it'll go away. Same thing happens if I drive forward at low speeds and hit the brakes from a stop.
Anyone experience this before and might know what it is or how to fix it?
