Yeah I'm enjoying the smoother ride and silence. I put in sound deadening in the floor and doors so my Evo is probably one of the quieter ones around.

And it has a surprising amount of grip, especially in the rain. I had trouble making the front understeer and slide out from yanking the wheel, and this 180-to-180 double apex type tight onramp that I usually took in my Advans, the Contis handled very well.

I think I just have to get used to the sidewall movement. The grip is more than I'll need on the street.

 

OP, since you're in Queens and get some harsh winters, go with something in the Ultra high Performance all-season category. Like the Continental Extreme Contact DWS06 or something similar.
