Summer tyres second car

Are there "new" tyres out this year?
I mount 245/40 R18 93Y on a stock Evo X that is a second car. What's your suggestion? I was thinking about R888R or Pilot Sport Cup2 but they are quite expensive. I don't care much about wet grip since if it's raining i'm not picking up this car, and if i found myself out in the rain i just go really slow.

For a stock EvoX, I would do Bridgestone RE71r's.

They looks good, but i can't find any in Europe! Do they have a different name?
EDIT: just found out they are not marketed in Europe, so i don't think they even have the CE omologation

Ok, Since it's a street car, really any of the 200tw tires will do. Hankook RS4, Dunlop ZIII, BFGoodrich Rival, etc. Just avoid Falken, Federal, and the other Asian tire brands that aren't Japanese.

The X is a pretty heavy car and the steering feel really benefits from a stiff sidwall. A lot of the Korean/Chinese tires that the drift bois like will grip but you won't like they way they drive on this platform. I have the Pilot Super Sports and like them quite a lot. Before that I had some Bridgestone REs and really liked them for the 20,000mi they lasted

The newest 2020 tire, which the car mags really seem to like, would be the BF Goodrich g-Force Rival S 1.5 (it's an improved/updated version of the Rival S from last year)

I was looking at these before going with the RS4. ive read RE’s grip like mad but then fall off substantially. Also, that they didn’t last long... Yet there you are with 20,000 miles? How often would you go on spirited drives? How loud? Sorry OP don’t mean to overtake your thread.

It was when I was DD'ing the car. One HPDE and occasional fun run stuff but at 20k they were nearly bald! They were probably ready to be replaced around 12-15k miles
