MR Bilstiens on GSR

Hello All,
First OEM shock has started to go dead on my 2010 GSR and was considering switching to the OEM Bilstiens from the MR. I'll plan on keeping the GSR spring most likely. Many owners done this as alternative to standard OEM replacement? No, I don't want coilovers hahaha. Been down that path before with my DSM. No matter who sets it up or what brand it is, its not as livable around town for us dudes in our 40's. Thanks!

Yea, it's more of a lateral move, some say it's an upgrade other's don't agree. But if you can access them easily, go for it. I've only ever used the Bilstiens but other state they are better at absorbing bumps vs the KYBs. Grains of salt or whatever.

Yea this is a common thing to do if you want a budget friendly upgrade for your Evo X suspension. I would add lowering springs with a progressive spring rate. These will ride better than the OEM springs.

I was looking into doing this as well since I've read the ride's more comfortable. The hard part now is sourcing the parts for a reasonable price

For aftermarket Bilsteins, I believe that Bilstein offers PSS9 for the Evo 9 and PSS10 for the Evo X.

I'm currently rolling on the Bilstein PSS10. I actually bought them mainly because they are much cheaper than the new OEM Bilsteins from Mitsubishi. But oh boy how nice are these! They have made my Evo as cushy-and-precise as the AMG GT.

I am running PSS same as PSS9 but no damping adjustment. I found that the damping knobs tend to freeze up in road use so I just went for the fixed version. Still has the spring height adjustment.
