Site Users, please read RE: Mark (KK)
I just heard about this on EP Hatch where I'm now residing.
Wow, I was shocked. Mark was a solid guy, I can't believe this. Even though it was a precursor to his true goal, he provided a place for people with the much-unloved Lancer ES/LS/OZ to come, and share their desire to improve their cars, and got us in touch with the vendors and dealers to help us to do so. I know that my knowledge of cars and my level of enthusiasm would be next to nothing if not for this site.
Everyone on ephatch.com sends their regards, and sympathies. Whether Mitsu or Honda, Import or Domestic, we're all in the same community of enthusiasts, and Mark created a site that stood head and shoulders above the rest. Mark was a good and fair site administrator, and even as the site grew in visiblity and in population, he never lost his passion for building a quality site. Even after I switched over, I checked in every once in a while, and he was someone that I had nothing but the highest respect for.
He will be missed.
Is there anything that we can do?

It is such terrible news to learn of what happened to you Mark. Thanks for your kind help in getting my account working awhile back. I appreciated your easy-going and helpful nature. You helped build this site at a perfect time when the popularity of the EVO platform exploded and we craved a home to belong to. My thoughts & prayers to your family and friends.

Thank you Mark for all you hard work in creating such a vast, useful, and great community here for all of us. RIP you will indeed be missed. My prayers are with your family and friends.
I think it would be great if we could eventually start a yearly evom meet in honor of Mark.

This is a total shock for us, as we've been dealing with Mark for a long time, hosting this website and his others. Mark was the nicest guy to speak with and was always in a good mood and laughing. I just can't get over how this happened.
Will a site admin please contact me asap.

Really sorry for the loss. Thoughts are with the families affected. Maybe we can do some kind of card signed by all evoM members and send it to the family. "Click here to sign" or something. His life affected thousands, and it would be good to do something reflecting that for his family.
Everyone,
I heard about this a few days ago on some of the Subaru forums. If it's any consolation, everyone on the Subaru forums is really pulling for him, his family, friends, and others that knew Mark. What a horrible tragedy......
I felt inclined to register to express condolences to everyone here. I would've posted sooner, but I never received an email that my account was activated; only that I would be contacted.
I'm very sorry to hear about Mark. This looks like a great site, and he's a big loss to the AWD community.
