I didn't know him but I am sad to hear the news and I know his family will be facing some hard times.
I was also sad to hear Stephen was previously charged with possession of marijuana and driving under the influence. I thought California would be alittle more stiff on the latter penalty. The former penatly is not taken seriously enough in most states. Sad.

I'm very sorry to hear about Mark. Everything I know about Evos and HPDE's (in other words the things that have made the past 2 years of my life a lot more joyful) is because of this site.

I cant believe this happend. My deepest sympathy to his family and It is a shame. I never talked to Mark but I heard he was a great guy. This site has been a community for all of us and it was because of him.
Mark... a great guy that made something out of nothing, gave many people a place to share knowledge/frustrations/joys/and defeats, as well as simply the nicest guy i've ever met/delt with... you will be missed but never forgotten.
I thank you for you time/patients on earth as well as for an eternity of guidance/insight i know you will still provide to us all.

Devastated is all I can say. I got back from the SCCA Runoffs on the 26th, had a week to get caught up with all the mess left behind: last 5 days have been moving, so I had no idea this happened.
I'm so upset. I just sold Mark his new set Toyo T1R's back in late August. He'd gone out of his way as usual to help promote our tire business on the site. Nothing was a hassle to him. He treated us fair and was always willing to help out. I've been on the site since since 2003 as member and as a vendor. This is a fantastic site to do business on. It is a true testament to Mark and Ali that this site works. I'm on others but EVOm is the best.
We at Frisby Performance Tire / Sierra Tire will be around on this site as long as it is here.
It's a small world, we have a second store in Vegas and that day my bosse's wife was on that same stretch of the strip an hour before the mayhem.
Godspeed Mark, you are sorely missed.
