Man accused of plowing into Strip pedestrians competent for trial
June 7, 2006 05:50 PM
The man accused of running down a group of pedestrians on the Strip has been found competent to stand trial. Stephen Ressa will appear in Justice Court Thursday on numerous counts of murder and attempted murder.
In September of last year, Ressa was behind the wheel of a car that crashed into more than a dozen people. Three were killed and 11 others injured.
Ressa told police he was afraid those pedestrians wanted to kill him. He was sent to Lakes Crossing mental hospital to be evaluated. Court papers were filed last week showing that Ressa is competent to stand trial.

I really hate to revive an old and painful thread. But I can't find any more info on this scumbag, and when/if he is going to trial
Last I saw they were still postponing to do more mental evaluation.
Again I'm sorry to revive this thread, but I would like to know.
RIP Mark.
