well boys i am going to be putting mine on tommarow the only thing that will stop me is iff UPS doesnt get it to me when they are supose to. i will let you know how it went when i am done.
How many people actually have stalling issues with this kit?
Is the stalling issue something that the computer learns about and eventually corrects or does it happen all the time?
I want the intake primarily for the 747 jet sound not strictly for the HP improvement.

I had mine on my car for about 6-8 months and the car didnt stall 1 time. Sometimes the revs would drop a bit, but it wouldnt stall. I wish I would have kept it sometimes, but WORKS wanted me to run the stock intake
I know this isn't exactly relevant as I have never tried any Injen product on an Evo, but I did fit my Injen cold air intake to my previous car (honda civic type-R) and I can only praise it.
The quality was outstanding, the instructions very clear and I managed to fit it myself even though I can barely change a lightbulb around the house!
Oh and it made the type-r sound like an F1 car (as well as improve performance significantly)...so I can only imagine how well it would work for the Evo.

I bought my evo friday so i'm new to the world of turbo's and such. I've heard ppl saying that it wasnt a good idea to mess w/ the intake and bov on the evo's w/ out getting a tune, is the correct? I'm coming from a rsx-s where i can just drop in the intake, exhaust, header and whatever and not have to worry about anything. So i guess i'm asking if this intake set-up is a drop in and forget or do i have to do something else to the car on top of that?
I always heard the same thing but I dynoed my car a couple days ago with AEM intake and Greddy bov and I was pretty impressed. I havent had a chance to get tuned and my car did just fine. The intake helped quite a bit due to it leaning the car out a little bit since its so overly rich from the factory. The dyno was reading quite low all day and it was at least 85 degrees out and I still managed to get 250 whp and 260 ft. lbs. of torque. All I have is the intake, bov and tbe with high flow cat.

Are all the stalling problems related to not re-circulating the BOV back in? Kinda hard to vent with MAF systems compared to MAP, but I was wondering if there was a code fix...Does dynoflash have some sort of tune that can support an aftermarket BOV?
