ok, i feel dumb for asking, but what does USDM stand for??? I'm thinking "United States" something or other....thanks, late!

 

USDM refers to the US version of a car while JDM refers to the Japanese version of a car. As for the acronym, I'd like to also know.

 

If you're wanting the actual acronym bits, well... can't help you.

But, for the most part, it usually denotes the difference between Euro-spec, Japan-spec, and United Stats-Spec models. Whenever we say USDM Lancer, it is for the brevity's sake, saving us from saying US version of the Cedia. I'm sure it will get more interesting when the Evo comes over.
