How much you payin????

lookin to ditch the lancer and go with either an evo or an SRT-4, please dont debate why one is better then the other, im plenty aware of what both of the cars are capable of.

My Question:
Whats your payment plans like? i have superb credit and so im just curious to see what the monthly payments are like for everyone on theyre evo. so like dollar per month would be straight up awesome. I did the search to see if there were any threads like this and there are, but times change so i think its time for an update

thanx,
matt

what are you looking to do with the down payment?...as in how much?
here's a calculator..http://www.bankrate.com/gookeyword/a...ulator.asp..im not sure on what the lowest APR people have gotten on the evo...but i belive if you have superb credit then you are better off walking in there with a knowledge that you have been approved for the ammount from a bank/credit union

if you were gonna finance 32K for 5 years....with a 3.9% APR you payments would be around 587.89...with a 6% APR it would be at 618.65...

seriously though....i know the neon is appealing because of factory turbo...but dodge scuks...have you ever compared what a boosted lancer does to a SRT?...or why not a WRX?

With payment, insurance, gas, oil, clutches, tires, expect to pay about $1000/month in the end. Not a cheap car to run, but it is fun.

I dropped $11,000 down, financed the rest at 5.3% with a credit score of 700 and another car loan already in my name. My payments are exactly $350/mo

...big downpayments make a world of difference...with interest rates at their current levels it makes sense to put down all you can afford... just to be safe, keep about 6months of payments in a savings account/CD, in case you have a financial emergency/lose a job, etc.

Oh, and I drove the SRT-4...its a bit sloppier than the Evo, and by me the dodge dealership was marking it up, too, where i got the Evo for $2000 under MSRP. And, at least for me the AWD was a huge selling point.

either way, Good Luck

**EDIT** Going through a credit union is probably your best bet.

--AND-- As for insurance...I'm a 22 yr old driver who's lived in MA and NJ (the 2 worst car insurance states).... with a clean record and LoJack, I pay less than $100 a month to insure the Evo...

so my total costs, per month, with gas, are just about $500

I'm paying 489.99 a month and thats one of the reasons why I'm selling my car. Time to move out and have a fun car in the future.

wow, yeah, im paying like only 200 a month for the lancer, i put 10 grand down, and i really only wanna pay about 300 a month, odds are i could get away with that kind of number easily if i got the SRT-4 and put another $10k down on it, thanx for the responces so far though
