New IL evo owner
Hi,
I've been a long time evom reader, but newly registered. After having droven 03 GSR, MR(I picked up my friend's Grey MR last Sat.) and 05 STI, I've decided on 05 GSR. There is a 05 silver evo GSR sitting my garage now
The choice between STI and Evo was a lot simpler than between MR and GSR. I even have a grey MR on order, which is coming next week. At the end, I had a deal on GSR that I couldn't pass(OTD under 30000).
Now the fun starts....driving it
The initial impression is very good. Before the GSR, I have a 325 M-Technic, and ride a CBR F3. I love the quickness of the Evo's steering(feel like a bike
. GSR suspension is stiff, but I'll get use to it. I have more appreciation for BMW's suspension system now. Very comfortable normal ride, but steps up when pace increases. Only thing I don't like about GSR is brake and gas pedal position....it is very hard to do heel and toe. The distance is too far. Oh yeah, my 05 have the rattling sound at driver's side of windshield.
BTW, if someone interested in a Grey MR for $200 under MSRP please PM me.
Jim
