the only thing i can think of is to upgrade the electrical system: plugs, wires, ground wires, even lean out your ecu with a flash or afc?

Lean out the fuel mixture with either an AFC, Xede, UTEC or flash...put in a high flow filter, and full exhaust minus cat...

XEDE, turn down down the boost, or stop standing on the throttle.

I get about 250-275 miles on 12 gallons in this Evo right now, and it's still stock. I'll be modified in a couple of weeks, and I should be seeing better MPG at that time. I'll let you know what all I did and what my new figures are (WHP/WTQ/MPG for both stock and modified) when I am done.

I wish I could see 275... The best I got was 260 and then I put in 13 gal, so it was pretty empty! I drove like a granny to get that...

You can see my mods below and even when I drive sloly (almost never) I still can't break the 250 mile per tank mark!!!! I drive 20 miles each way to work, mostly highway so I should be getting better mileage than someone driving in stop and go miles.

Most only change the fuel curve under higher-throttle runs (closed loop).

This won't really help you in city driving or during normal "daily" driving.

have fun with this one. i think that the evo wasnt made for long trips.what i do is leave the a/c off, stay around 3k rev, and try to stay in the same speed. and with all that i got around 295 miles and that was about 1/8 away from E
