Another n00b here...
What's up fellas, my name is Brian and pretty soon I'll be trading in the 03 Spec-V for either an MR or Evo VIII. I can't wait to just get a test drive...anyone in Queens NyC willing to give me a ride?...hehe.
I went to Mitsubishi of Great Neck?? I believe... and they wanted $1000 deposit just to test drive that bad boy (MR). I heard only about a thousand were coming to the US this year and I guess I'll have to wait until 06 to get mine. I might just get a used Evo VIII for around 23-25K, but I'd like to remain having 6 gears + all the other GREAT things I have heard and read about the Evo.
I'm looking forward to it's handling capabilities more than anything else. The Spec-V handles awesomely for what it's worth and I think I'm ready for the Evo.
I'm on thevboard.com 24-7 and everyone is very cool, hopefully I can experience the same atmosphere here. OK, I think thats enough for now. Time to go browse the forums.

Whats up Spec V in NYC, you may have seen me around the vboard. Anyway getting rid of the Spec huh? If your gonna go with the EVo or MR nice choice!!! sicc cars, lol. This forum has so much more going on then the board. C ya around.

Hmm, I better turn that feature to "on" so that I can recieve replies to threads...And all this time I thought I was recieving some cold shoulders. 
spec2nr, I have seen your name on the board before and yeah, I'm getting rid of this bad luck POS. I've been through 2 motors, tb, sh!tload of thrown codes, a clutch, starter and most recently a hit and run on the Northern State that sent me into multiple 360's @ 70MPH.
My CF hood came up and smashed the windshield so all I could do was counter steer and luckily I missed a wall, guard rail and other cars. I took it in for an estimate on the damage and it was $700, so I was lucky the guy only brushed my door and I walked out alive.
I did however lose my cool and tried to go right after him, but the latch from the hood broke off and the wind just smashed it into the windshield again. I guess things happen for a reason...I'd probably be in jail right now.
