U.S. Evo vs U.K. Evo

What's the difference between the U.S. Evo vs U.K. Evo besides the horsepower? Sry if this is in the wrong section.

Plus, if you had a UK version, could you imagine waking up in the morning feeling kinda groggy getting in US side drivers seat and trying to turn the car on?

Well actually...the seats are slightly different than the evo 7's. Yes they are the same dimensions, and are multiple tone, but are still slightly different. The first pic are the evo 7 seats. the second pic are the uk evo 8 seats

there are quite a few structural and safety difference between a EDM and USDM Evo 8. Check the petition for eligibility to import LHD EDM Evo's filed with NHTSA by Sean Morris working for G&K Automotive on behalf of Evolution Imports and response from Mitsu America's legal counsel:

http://dms.dot.gov

For Evo 8, do a simple search for docket #: 15470
For Evo 7, do a simple search for docket #: 16031

It's interesting to read all the extra crap Mitsu has to do to make the cars compliant with all the US FMVSS (federal motor vehicle safety standards), and basically shows that the rest of the world kind of gets screwed on that stuff and that other markets don't get cars nearly as safe.
