Hello everyone. I recently bought a silver 05" Evo MR on 11/30/04. So far it's a really fun car to drive although it's still in the breakin mileage (360 thus far). I've been reading about it coming to the US since it was announced in March I think. I was a little bummed to have to buy snow tires as I live in Wyoming. Also they jacked sticker up to just over $36,000. I had one reserved so I paid less, after some discussion. It also came with 10yr/100,000 mile powertrain warranty. That really put a smile on my face until I read about how easy Mitsubishi voids warranties. Oh well, I guess I'll keep it stock for a while, although there are future plans there.

Anyway, I also have a 02" WRX (my wife's) and just sold V-8 (lightning) Ranger to have $$ for Evo .

You will really enjoy it. DOn't worry about mods just yet, and since you also have a wrx, I will assume that you know how to drive an all wheel drive vehicle. You will be amazed at how well the MR performs stock. Unless you will be doing some drag racing (not reommend it) stay on the safe side and you will be find with warranty issues.
