I am a newbie. Just thought I would introduce myself and ask a question based off of the previous intercooler question I saw posted.

I am looking in to putting a Nitrous Express Front Mount Intercooler Chiller Kit on my Evo. Anyone out there have one? Any coment about it? Good, bad, likes, dislikes?


Oh yeah. I forgot. I have an '03 Apex Silver Evo.

 

I've read about it and it seems the only reason that you make gains from it is because the nitrous is ingested into the intake and its like a little dry shot.

 

This system as I understand it has nothing to do with Nitrous. It's just made by Nitrous Express. It uses CO2. Here's what the product description says:

"The gas sprays directly on your intercooler to lower the intercooler temp to well below freezing (we suggest CO2 Gas). The result is a tremendous drop in intake temperatures. Dyno tests have seen increases of over 50+ horsepower!"

 

there was a long thread on this a long time ago. you can try searching for it. i don't remember the name of the thread.

 

I wonder how long the tanke lasts on those systems. It's a shame it's only a finite experience....
