I'm happy with mine. The only thing I cant stand is the rattles but all EVO's do that.

The rattles are a little annoying but once you step on the loud pedal they dont seem to matter any more.

I am very happy with mine. Rattles went away after a little "break-in". Main thing is it doesn't have the big wing, so I don't have Hondas revving at me everywhere I go. I don't commute at 100 mph, and at track days I'll live with a little oversteer.

You might need to dynomat the trunk if you care about how your subwoofer sounds outside the car.

sounds pretty cool. i looked on the mitsu website and couldnt find anything about the A/C. i was assuming that got gutted too. i know the 01 Cobra-R's were gutted completely including A/C.

The RS has NO undercarriage coating for sound deadening either. It also has the aluminum brace at the rear of the trunk, front LSD, and aluminum roof. I know that all 05 models have the LSD in the front but the straight eight 04 models don't. Mine is a monster, I think it left the factory with a little something special. I dyno'd 265 WHP completely stock. To put it into perspective another guy with an RS dyno'd 219 WHP the same day on the same dyno. This was not a fluke, they attempted the baseline 4 times with the same numbers.

the car is amazing, all BS aside you cant beat the price of an RS for what its worth i dont think u can go wrong with any evo model but if your looking to pay less than go with the RS i love mine im just over 10k with no worries and the best thing of all is that it's almost payed off. over all if you can deal with rolling down the windows its ur best choice i personally have no problem with it cuz i dont roll my windows down cuz all i here are fart can honda's revving at me. power locks aint no thing i bought a top of the line alarm system that took care of that besides its still an evo regardless of the lack of power this and that.

so i have a RS and it didnt come with any radio any mirror switch, no power locks or power windows, trunk jus has the board and carpet it def comes with A/c and all the slots to put the buttons to work everything in the doors also have harness to add power locks and windows, and it has harness for everything...i have the evo ix rs

If I bought an RS, the only things I would add is the spoiler, radio, and keyless entry and call it a day.

Does anyone know what all would be required to do a rear wiper conversion for an 05 USDM evo 8 rs?I want to add a rear wiper and know I'd need the wiper motor and wiper arm and wiper switch for turning it on but idk what else? Does it already have all the wiring harnesses for that and just needs the hardware installed??
