I have the injen intake and a Turbosmart BOV, It recircs and vta, i have never had stalling issues, and have not lost any power from the intake like some ppl suggest, its bs i had my car dynoed stock and then after my mods of intake, exhaust and bov i gained 30whp. Its loud as hell and like i said i have no idling problems or stalling problems you just need to know how to tune your bov, you don't just put it in the car you have to know how to adjust your spring. Remember it's what makes you happy not what other morons think.

You got the hp from the exhaust, not the intake or BOV. The fact that you have no idle problems without a tune is very strange, but I'm glad it worked for you. I've never heard of tuning a BOV, though...that's pretty cool.

Not sure what a "cap't" is, but no, you don't deserve a "ricer" ticket. It's just that you take up an inordinate amount of space with "mods" that don't do anything. The first 8 are useless and unimportant to anyone, while the last 9 are very useful and important to almost everyone. Having 17 lines of text in your sig doesn't make sense to me when nearly half are related to cosmetics, but there are no rules against it...

Personally a loud blow off valve is annoying. I saw a red talon a few weeks ago loudest blow off valve I ever heard in my life was next to him in traffic for about fifteen minutes I wanted to rip the thing out of the car for him. Exhaust is the sound an Evo needs nothing like a nice low growl out the back end of a true street machine. Just my opinion though.

Nothing makes sense to you, unless it your way. Of course there is no way you can make power unless your using the stock airbox and a drop in filter. Because im sure you have dyno tested all the after market intakes to prove this. The blanket statements you make that intakes and BOV are worthless "rice" are absurb. Also, not everyone just cares about making power, some people believe it or not, like to change the appearance of their vehicles as well.

I can't believe what harsh responses this guys got for normal questions. So he is not the most educated on the way Evo's handle VTA BOV's or how intakes can sometimes lower performance. That's what questions are for. I think they are so many people of these forums that are so self-righteous that they think since they only mod to make the car faster, they are better than people that also enjoy exterior enhancments. Like people before me have said, sometimes other people have different goals for their cars. His questions weren't that unreasonable. It's not like he asked "How many neons can I wire to my stock battery until my cars explodes with the electrical equivalent of an atom bomb" or "What is the best hydraulic suspension setup for the evo? I want it to bounce like a 3 year old on crack." I think it's time that people stop making stupid comments against other users for logical questions. And now I’m sure I will get "flamed" at because I defended the guy, but whatever. It's nothing less than what I would expect. Now to answer the guy's question...

If you really like the bov sound, I recommend an intake. I know with my intake the BOV is really loud. I personally don't like it so much, but if you do, then go with the intake
