i have the AEM shortram. fitment was great BUT i absolutely HATE how the diverter valve just sits in the hose. looks kinda unfinished on AEMs part

Because it is ridiculously overpriced for what it is. You have to be out of your mind IMO to spend over $100 on a drop-in... unless it had been proven to add over 20whp or something.

When I bought my Evo the previous owned has put a K&N Typhoon on it. I promptly replaced it with the stock airbox/filter ASAP and put that thing on eBay.

the hks intakes are garbage. hks recommends that you change the filter every 5k miles, once i heard that noooo way was i going with that.

i have kn typhoon and turbo seems to spool up quicker and the bov sounds great the red piping also matches the valve cover well to

I just got the Injen intake and I/C pipes..having it installed tomorrow. Will do a dyno after the install and will report on the results.
