i accually drove a 350 z, now that car is slow!

I wasn't impressed with it's interior and and the handling. Very nice car anyways.
I would reccomend you take a S2 for a spin if you get a chance. It won't give
you that high end pull like the Evo, but you would swear this car can go forever
in every gear.

Congrats on your recent purchase and welcome to the EVO family. You will grow to love the EVO more and more, the S2000 is a hard car to replace, but if it performance you are after the EVO is the car to replace it with. Also you seem very willing to mod, which is great because you selected one of the best cars for this mission. You'll be amazed with the performance gains you get with just simple bolt on mods. Before you start modifying I would suggest you continue to get more and more comfortable with the car, in driving, shifting, and launching, because the best mod for your car is your driving abilities. Your driving can single handily make your car look dog slow or like the true champ that it is.

Some suggestions I have for your first power mods would be a Turboback Exhaust, MBC, and a SAFC or Flash. You should see a substantial increase in HP with these few mods (between 30WHP to 50WHP). Now if you decide to get an intake, remember you more than likely will have to get it tuned, because the intake can actually hurt your performance if it is not tuned for your car.

Good luck and remember have a lot of fun. Since you live in New Jersey why don't you go to the Aug. 20th EVO vs. WRX/STi shootout at Englishtown. You don't have to race, but it would be a great opportunity for you to meet other EVO owners and get some pointers, just a suggestion.

Thanks for the great welcome and advice...I will attempt to make to as many meets as possible. Great thing about this car is the amount of mods that can
be done and power that can be achieved, the downside is the amount of money i need to pay for. Currently, I've decided to freeze on the mods and learn the car in it's stock form. This way when I do mod it i will know wat's working or not.
