5000rpms+ the ECU uses a different map. 5000-redline is where your usable power is, not on spoolup. So as it makes it easier for the turbo to breathe, it also flows more air and creates additional wind noise, making the MAF tell the ECU to dump more fuel which is not conducive to creating more HP, rather less.

So now that where off that pissing contest, i have a legit question, You Guys are talking basic mods, intake TBE and what not, ( i dont know if you call them basic)

All i know right now completely stock with a magnaflow muffler the retard who own the car before me put on, i pulled a

r/t .609
60 ft 2.010
330 5.742
1/8 8.951
mph 74.84
1000 11.756
1/4 14.090
mph 96.84

That is one of my OK 60's ive gotten some 1.9's and but this is the first time i was at the track with this car, i wanna be able to drive it better than i do now i see all these people on this forum with tons of stuff runing crappy times doesnt seem right

y spend the money to make the power if you cant preduced a good time or result?

Considering that i had an SRT4 before and i have never launched AWD or ownd anything close to it ( i have an ATV though thats 4x4 HA!)

im finding it to be a very big pain to figure out how to launch this car, i cant get it right, 5k. 6k I always get the same Given that i am alittle scared that im going to break somthing.

What should be my main mods.

And please dont tell me to search every seems to think that you can magicaly get an opinion for exactly what im trying to achieve.

As far as the SRT4 goes, THE FIRST thing i looked @ when buyin the evo was makning sure it had power rear windows. stupid dodge. So glad this car is that much more comfortable

what have i learned from this thread:
evoonyaass or whatever his name is and burningmoney have no idea what they are talking about.
If you want to question me about my driving and where this is coming from, well first off because I can, and also like Clayton I know what i'm talking about with driving.

60' 1.65
1/8 7.96
1/8 mph 85.3
1/4 12.54
1/4 mph 107

I have run consistent 1.65-1.66 60' and this was in my first year of racing the car
my mods at the time:
TBE, MBC, intake, flash, act 2600 dyno'd 287whp on a dynapack

BOV's are made to hold boost not to give any gain in hp.

Although holding boost gives you more power I wouldn't consider BOV's a power mod but they enable you to put out the power you should be.

We're used to calling them ACT 2600s from the DSM days when you could choose between a 2100# pressure plate and a 2600# one. Now, ACT doesn't use the numeric term anymore, but all of the pressure plates are 2900#. It's possible that some early Evo owners bought ACT 2600s before the change, but I'm not sure.
