Kids and Evo's
Im 19 and i bought my 05 evo in nov 04. I go to school full time and i also work full time. I've been working (for my parents) since I was in 7th grade. I pay for all my bills with the exception of a roof over my head, but buying my car myself makes me appreciate it a whole lot more.. AND boy, do I LOVE MY BABY!!!!!
i'm 18 and this is my 3rd car its a mix of having a bf that can negotiate and getting a good deal on my trade in, my last trade in paid for half of my 05 MR.
Oh yeah and not to mention my bf dad is good friends w, mitzu regional
(I guess i just have good luck?)

22yrs old, married for 4 years and one 2 yr old girl. Dropped out of 9th grade. Got the GED. Started working hard in warehouse type jobs, and it finally paid off. Landed a job in the coca cola syrup plant making coke products at 20yrs old. I get 55k a year. Wife gets 25k a year. Bought a 140k house in denton texas, a 2004 fully loaded pearl white maxima on 20's (wifes car), and I traded in my 350z for the evo.(my car). Thats it.
im 17 and have 2 jobs and im senior in hs, my story is this: i used to drive a celica, guy ran a stop sign totaled that car so i got 10k for that plus i had 3k saved up and i work 2 jobs that get me about 32hrs per week that help me pay my $225 note, plus oil and gas and i still manage to mod my car hehe...i love this car
looks like im one of the first to say the opposite of what your saying but ya my parents bought me my evo. they bought me my first car (truck) at 17. its not like i didnt work though I have worked since I was 16 i have gone from the truck to a 94 bmw 325is (which i put about 10k of my own money into) sold that and put in some more of my money to buy an srt-4 (put about 3k into that) then sold that to get a 95 bmw m3 (put about 5k into that). so yeah they bought me my first truck for doing good in school i put the money in for the rest of those cars. the m3 was my last car and my family moved out here to the east coast from cali (dad promoted) and i decided to come with them so i sold the m3 to get a diff car out here (one better for snow) and when i got here my dad surprised me with the evo. im not at all ashamed to say it he makes very good money and gives me and my 3 brothers a great life. having parents who spoil me a lil isnt going to mess my life up in the future though Im close to getting my degree in comms and already have some good job options set up. rag on me if you want. i have respect for you guys workin hard for what you have!
Hey Im 16 and my dad wanted an evo plus I have to get straight A's all year long. I work at Taco Bell getting $7.00 an hour and working 20+ hours. I pay the monthly payments and my dad pays for my insurance and gas. Yea, some of you might say Im spoiled but hey Im paying the car off which is like $471 a month.
I agree with people working hard for their Cars! And when parents buy their kids a Evo they shouldn't get an MR, they should be saved for those who work hard.
And Some Great News Y'all!
I'm probaly the last one to find this out..., But, Evo IX in Aus is going to be released in Unlimited Numbers!!!
*100yrs Later im driving a Evo 9*!!!
