Hey guys, new car for me!...?

Hey guys, I'm new and just wanted to say Hi to everyone... well I've spent the last 2 years of my life working on my project car but basically a cop made me pop my hood so i have to sell the car now due to smog problems (I live in California). I'm trying to sell the car for around 12k so I can put a downpayment on an 05 Evo 8. How much did you guys put down for your Evo and how much are you guys paying a month? I'm in the insurance business and I'm going to be paying about $2,300 for 6 months (I screwed up pretty bad when i was 16) for insurance. I'd LOVE an evo so i'm really gonna try to make this work... my last project was an 89 nissan 240sx with an R34 Skyline GT-T engine. It was a cool car and fun to drive but neh. Time to grow up and get a 4 door i guess. haha.FS: My 2 year project. Everything professionally done. Bought the front clip 2 years ago from a local shop. Engine is from an R34 Skyline GT-T. Engine is a Neo 6 RB25DET. 280hp/250 torque. 2.5L inline 6 Turbo. Oil changed twice every 1.5k miles with Mobil 1 full synthetic. The car has working power steering but no a/c. The car is going to be sold with a non-op title... meaning it can ONLY be used as a track/show car. This car needs to go so I can make a downpayment on a new car! E-mail me and shoot me an offer!!

Here's some pics of my project car if you wanna look :

Hey, welcome! You're on Zilvia, right? I'm on there too. If you are in the bay area check out norcalevo.net

I just purchased a 05 Evo and selling my SR20DET 240SX. Definitely a very different car to drive and gonna miss the 240... but the Evo is pretty quick!

hehe, i HOPE i can sell the 240, i can't get the evo until I do. I test drove one and it was coo. For the most part, my evo is just gonna stay prety stock.

Same situation here. I hope I can get some decent money for the 240SX. Had it 3 years and been building it. Fortunately it has always been registered and operational so don't need to deal with the Ref plus I am returning it to as stock as possible to sell.

Evo stays stock for a while...
