Why bring the USDM VIII to the states if everyone wants something eles. There is nothing special bout "JDM" Evo's. They dont shoot lasers, they wont cook you dinner, and their not going to get you any more tang that what you already have.

Bottom line is there is a perfectly good VIII sitting on a lot near you.

this is something that i just don't understand. people ask about the 7 and we all give them the same answer "you can't import one legaly and it is not worth the hassle when you can buy an evo 8 which is the same car". their response is always " i can get one from evolution imports". we all know about evolution imports. we all know that they were banned from this site after they screwed at least 5 members out of thousends of dollars. we know that there are 0 jdm evolutions from evolution imports on the road today. And yet, for some reason, this discussion comes up once a week and people just don't learn....

Dude it's cool whatever. Like I said I know all the BS he went through after everything was suppossed to be "good to go" like in every other situation it's always seems to be someone elses fault. Good luck.

Maybe my uncle in the DOT can shed some light on this topic. I'll email him a link.
