At the end of this year im selling my lancer and I would like to get an Evolution 7 GSR or RS but I dont know how to go about importing or findng imported cars for sale. Could someone steer me in the right direction?

(I was going to put this in the For Sale - Wanting To Buy (WTB) Or Trade (WTT) but I am unable to)

Yeah i've seen that evo before. Id rather mod and tune the car myself. Thats most of the fun. Im looking for a stock or atleast mostly stock evo 7.

 

your not gonna find one. And if you do It's simply not worth it. You're better off getting an VIII

 

Why don't you get an 05 and put evo 7 bumpers? You'll have the 10.5 turbo and evo 7 looks? Probably easier and prevent registration headaches since evo 7 was not legalized for the US.

Well i found an evo 7 rs-2 on http://www.evolutionimports.com/ for 27k neg which im pretty sure i could get down to 25k. So wouldnt that be like 10k cheaper than getting an 05 evo8 MR and getting an evo7 body kit? Also, the 7 has been my dream car since it was released and if i got an 8 with a 7 body kit id still know it was an 8 and not a 7.

 

do some research on this board about Evolution Imports before you go writing any checks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Evo VII's are still NOT legal to be registered in the USA. Some have sneaked past the rules by calling them kit cars or using old VIN's from other cars, but that is not considered legal.

the one at evolution imports is the silver evo 7 that was on this site, it is mostly stock just had a manifold, evolution imports still have the car and said the price is neg.

 

I went to these guys to buy an Evo 7 and they let me drive one and i feel in love so i left a $1,000 and they told me it would take 4 weeks tops so i let 5 weeks pass and the car was still not even shipped so i canceled my order and ask for a refund and thy said they would send me a check dude 5 to6 months have past and tey still havent sent me anything and every time I call I talk to the owner Adam and he says that hes sending it out hes a real JOKE. All i can say is get an Evo 8 or that sick 7.
