Trading/Selling ES to 2005 EVOVIIIMR
I am pondering about selling my 2003 ES with 12,xxx miles and getting a MR with no apr.
I have seen lot of people on this forums buying a MR with apr and one year free gas. (is this true?)
my ES was sold to me brand new (i m the first owner) and it now has brand new aftermarket rims and falken tires ($1,000 worth) with injen SRI, sway bar and RMR spoiler and RMR evo7 type lip. I also have slotted/drilled rotors on it. How much would it go for? I basically paid off around 7 thousand. about 8 thousand is left to pay off. If i sell it for 7 or 8 thousand and the new owner takes over the rest of payment and I use that money to downpayment a 2005 MR. (good idea?)
how much a month would i have to pay for the mr itself?
or i trade it off with a mr stragith from the dealership? (not sure if its a good idea also)
is this a good idea? i m a college student and earn about $900 a month from work.

$900.00 a month and you are a college student?
I make much more than that and I would be concerned about buying EVO. Don't expect to get a lot of money for your lancer even if it is still new. Go to cars.com and look up the prices. Evo will probably cost you 3x as much a month as you are paying for your Lancer. And don't even mention insurance.

900 a month isnt near enough to pay for driving an evo, after car note, gas maintenance and other unexpected bills, and your gonna be in a hole....
i make 50k a year, and still not confortable enough to buy an evo, im sure i would be ok, but its not worth it to me.
