New guy on the block

Just got my 02 Lancer OZ. It's a 5 speed, yellow with about 25k on her. It is mint to say the least. I have had many cars in the past and have bought this car to save money while attending the last 2 semesters of college.
Cars I have had:
1. 1991 Buick Skylark-BONE STOCK, LOL
2. 1995 Eagle Talon- Muffler
3. 1999 Civic Si- Intake and catback
4. 2002 WRX- intake, downpipe, uppipe, catback, no cats, mbc @17 psi
5. 1994 Civic Ex- LOTZ of suspension and some JDM parts.
6. (Recently sold) 1998 Pontiac Formula LS1- Longtubes, off road Y pipe, SLP Loudmouth catback, MTI lid, FRA!, EGR!

and Now the Lancer

I have noticed that the aftermarket for the Lancer exc the Evo is small. I will most likely stick with suspension and some small stuff like a grill and whatnot. Gotta save for my 04 Cobra when I get out of school and find a real job.
Just wanted to say hello.
Jon

Pretty nice list, Buick, Civics, 02 WRX???, and now Lancer OZ? If you need any parts check out RRM and RPW. They are both awesome and have a lot of new products coming out. Good luck and post some pics.

Yea I went through quite a few of them. I went with this car because it will save me alot of money from gas and insurance. Like I said I have about a year left of school so, once I am out and get a good job, I will be able to buy something faster than what I have had. I have my heart set on a Z06 or 04 Cobra.

Where is the best place to find some springs and shocks. I do not want to dump money into this car so a decent cheap spring shock setup will do for me.

NEX full coilovers seem to be the best for the price.
Search in https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/lancer-tires-wheels-brakes-suspension-sponsored-tire-rack-58/

Just type in NEX in the search field and you're set.

I've heard that only the rear struts will bolt up to our Lancers (someone correct me if it is the other way), but there's no advantage to doing that. Welcome, and hope that yellow paint job doesn't start to flake away like some other yellow Lancer owners.

What is the warranty on the paint, from the factory?
