Best!
I think the best mod I did for my Lancer was put the porky underpowered car back to stock and start racing a 90s Suzuki Swift instead. The Lancer is a great, comfortable, gas saving commuter car now.
Oh, you meant for performance? OK, I think the Tein SS suspension with camber adjustment added to it did wonders for the Lancer. $1200 and after tuning it and adding it to some other mods, I made a pretty impressive showing at a few road courses.

Read my sig... As for best bang for the buck I'd have to say that I've been somewhat disappointed with the HP gains, or rather lack thereof from any particular mod. But I've been happiest with the Nex coilovers.

It depressing to think how Hondas "k20" (2.0 RSX Type-s/06 Si) engine gets 197hp & a 8k redline and you have our 4g94 that cant even keep up with the 1.7 EX (127hp) Civic engine.... OH and while that 1.7 is eating your @$$, all hear is the VTEC as it passes you. ROFL
(BTW, it gets 35mpg where i'm lucky to see 25.)
